These are starting points, not exclusive capabilities: both tools offer overlapping research features. Try the relevant free plan before choosing a paid subscription. Neither tool proves demand or guarantees sales.

This is a comparison of documented capabilities, not a scored performance test. Availability can depend on the selected plan. The suggested starting points are editorial recommendations, not evidence that one tool outperforms the other.

When eRank is a useful starting point
Choose eRank as the first tool to try when your immediate task is comparing relevant search phrases or reviewing listings you already have. Its public plan page describes keyword research, listing audits and a Tag Report. It also includes product and competitor research, so describing it as a keyword-only tool would be inaccurate.
eRank explains that its search-volume and engagement figures use third-party estimates. Use them to form a shortlist, not to label a product a proven seller. When comparing them with Etsy Marketplace Insights, record the keyword, market and time window: different definitions or periods can explain different numbers.

Start without a paid commitment. Use the free allowance to check a listing and the phrases relevant to it. Upgrade only when a paid capability addresses a specific task; reaching a usage limit alone does not establish value.

When EverBee is a useful starting point
Choose EverBee as the first tool to try when you are comparing product ideas, listings or competitor positioning. Its public materials describe sales and revenue estimates alongside keyword tools. Its Hobby plan is limited; do not assume the free plan includes all paid sales and revenue analytics.
EverBee's help article says its algorithm estimates results using information Etsy makes available, including views, favorites, listing dates and prices. It also describes situations in which its estimates can differ from actual results. That does not establish a universal accuracy percentage or tell us that a proposed product will be profitable.
Record the listing, observation date, period, displayed metric and your decision. Treat an estimate as a lead for further research, then review differentiation, delivery requirements and costs. Check the available features before paying. Start with Hobby where it covers your task. A paid plan is a business expense, not proof that a product idea will sell.

Pricing: separate the billing term from the monthly equivalent
The figures below are what the public vendor pages displayed when reviewed on 6 September 2026. They are not a completed checkout, invoice or tax-inclusive quote. Currency conversion, local tax, promotions and account-specific terms have not been verified.

A source discrepancy, not a rounding fix we can silently make. Multiplying EverBee's displayed monthly equivalent by 12 differs from its stated annual total by USD 0.88. We report both source figures rather than invent a corrected checkout price. Confirm the actual billing total before committing.
Do not compare an annual-billing equivalent with another tool's monthly subscription and label the result a like-for-like price multiple.
To decide whether a subscription is useful, name the task it must help with, use the available free features, and compare the cost with the value of a decision you can actually document. A free-plan limit, a vendor estimate or an attractive dashboard is not evidence of return on investment.
What this comparison can establish about AI shopping
Keyword research and product research are not tests of whether Google AI Overviews or another assistant will recommend a listing. An AI feature or an MCP integration provides a way to use a tool; it does not prove visibility in an AI-generated answer.
For a blog such as SellerAIReady, Google's guidance says that normal SEO best practices still apply to AI Overviews and AI Mode. A page must be indexed and eligible for a search snippet; no special AI schema or extra AI text file is required. Eligibility is not a guarantee that the page will be cited.
For a listing hosted on Etsy, the seller controls the listing fields Etsy exposes, not Etsy's page templates or server configuration. Keep descriptions, attributes and other listing information accurate and consistent. Do not turn that advice into an invented ranking condition.

There is no universal winner for a new shop. Start with the free plan that matches the next decision you need to make. You can research keywords before publishing a listing; using a keyword tool does not require existing listings for every feature.
Are EverBee sales estimates accurate?
EverBee says its sales and revenue figures are estimates derived from information Etsy makes available, and that they can differ from actual results. This review has not measured a universal accuracy rate. Use those figures as research signals, not as verified orders, revenue or profit.
Does eRank work for digital downloads and print-on-demand?
Yes. Its keyword research can inform digital-download and print-on-demand listings, and its listing audits can help review existing listings. A keyword metric alone does not establish a ranking outcome, demand for a specific product or a future sale.
