Editorial Standards & AI Disclosure

Last updated: August 17, 2026

At SellerAIReady, our goal is to help Etsy sellers and small e-commerce owners understand and prepare for AI-powered shopping — including Google AI Mode, Gemini, ChatGPT Shopping, and the wider shift toward agentic commerce. This page explains exactly how our content is produced, reviewed, and kept accurate, so you always know what you are reading and how much to trust it.

Our Editorial Mission

We publish practical, testable guidance. Every guide is written to answer a real question an Etsy seller would actually ask, in plain language, with concrete steps that can be applied the same day. We do not publish clickbait, fake income claims, or “secret hacks”.

How We Create Our Content

Each article follows the same process:

  1. Research. We review primary sources first: official Etsy announcements, Google Search Central documentation, Google Ads & Commerce announcements, and reputable industry reporting.
  2. Drafting. We outline the article around the specific questions sellers ask, then write clear, answer-first sections.
  3. Human review. Every article is read, edited, fact-checked, and approved by a human editor before publication.
  4. Maintenance. Articles about fast-moving AI features are revisited regularly and updated when platforms change.

Our Use of AI (Full Disclosure)

In short: we use AI tools as an assistant, never as an unsupervised author. No article is published without human research, editing, and approval.

Specifically:

  • Research assistance: we may use AI tools to gather and summarize publicly available sources, which we then verify ourselves.
  • Drafting assistance: we may use AI to help structure or draft sections, which are then rewritten, corrected, and validated by a human editor.
  • Illustrations: the illustrations and featured images on this site are generated with AI image tools and are used for visual explanation only. They are not photographs of real products, people, or interfaces.
  • What we never do: we never publish unreviewed AI output, never invent statistics, never fabricate quotes, and never present AI-generated images as real screenshots or product photos.

Sourcing and Accuracy

  • We prioritize primary sources: official platform documentation and official company announcements.
  • When we cite a statistic, we name the organization behind it and the period it refers to.
  • When something is our opinion, an estimate, or an untested prediction, we say so explicitly.
  • We do not guarantee results. AI shopping features change frequently and vary by country and account.

Corrections and Updates

Every article shows a “Last updated” date. When a platform changes or we find an error, we update the article and refresh that date. If a correction changes the meaning of the original advice, we note it inside the article.

If you spot an error, please tell us — we genuinely want to fix it. Write to selleraiready@gmail.com or use our Contact page.

Editorial Independence and Monetization

SellerAIReady may earn revenue from affiliate links, advertising, and our own digital products. This never changes our recommendations:

  • We only recommend tools and resources we believe are genuinely useful for Etsy sellers.
  • We do not accept payment for a positive review, and we do not sell editorial coverage.
  • Affiliate relationships are disclosed on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
  • Advertising is clearly separated from editorial content.
